Dear friends,

Sometimes, we just have a day when everything is too much for us, when we’re perhaps discouraged, don’t enjoy anything, feel no energy, when we perhaps don’t want to see anyone or doubt that we can really help to change anything for the better by just sitting around and seemingly doing nothing.

The most important thing then is for you to accept the fact and not stress yourself by thinking that you should be feeling differently right now. At the moment, that’s just the way it is and you can tell yourself with certainty that you won’t stay in this depressed state forever.

It’s also important to know that there are tools we can use and to then use them.
Something that is certain steer us in another direction very quickly is gratitude.

We can start writing a gratitude list.
We can write down all the things for which we are grateful in our lives. We can begin with everyday things: with the fact that we have running water in the house; that we have enough food and that we can breathe; that the sun shines in the morning; that we have people in our lives who love us, and that the spiritual world is also with us when we’re feeling depressed.

Once you start, this list can suddenly become very long… because there are so many things, big and small, for which we can be grateful.

Afterwards, we feel better automatically because we’ve directed our thoughts towards something positive.
If we say that we’re spiritual, it doesn’t mean that we always have to be in a good mood. But it does mean, among other things, that we have to learn to accept ourselves in such moments as well.
It also means that we have to learn to really use those things that enable us to send something good into the field again.
Gratitude is a wonderful key to your heart.
