Is there such a thing as too much trust? (Keyword passivity – you sit back and let things take their course because your destiny is predetermined anyway)

Answer:

In my view, true trust has nothing to do with saying, "I don't have to do anything myself". For me, trust means I'm aware that there is something greater, that there is a divine plan above everything.

Those events that we ourselves cannot change directly, we can hand over to this divine plan because those events exceed our possibilities.

But those things that we can personally change for the better, we should change. For we ourselves are also part of the divine plan and we should therefore also trust ourselves to be able to play our part in changing what we can for the better.
